CTET Online Form September 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently issued an exam notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). CTET 2018 Notification is going to be released on 22 June 2018 on CTET’s official website https://ctet.nic.in .
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is organized by CBSE for appointing the primary and upper primary teacher for Class I to Class VIII. Through this examination successful candidates will be able to appear in TGT/ PGT exams and central govt as well as state government teaching jobs. CTET exam is conducted by CBSE to fill the central schools vacancies of KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
Candidates should have completed class 12th qualification with at least 50% marks to appear in this exam. Candidates who have Graduation Degree are eligible for Class VI to Class VIII. The aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

How to do CTET Form Correction:
The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 16/09/2018 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 92 cities all over the country. The online application process will start from 22/06/2018 (Friday) onwards. The last date for submitting online application is 27/07/2018 (Monday) and fee can be paid up to 30-07-2018 (Thursday) before 3.30 p.m.
CTET Age Limit & Age Relaxation:
There is no age limit in CBSE CTET, candidates must have age 18 years at least.
CTET Eligibility Criteria or Qualification:
The following persons are eligible for appearing in the CTET exam.
- Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education D.El.Ed. “OR”
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE “OR”
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). “OR”
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (D. Ed. Special Education)*. “OR”
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). “OR”
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). “OR”
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. “OR”
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). “OR”
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. “OR”
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
CTET Sept 2018 Exam Pattern :
CTET will be conducted in two phase: Paper I & Paper II
Where Paper I for the candidates who are appearing for Class I to V teacher and Paper II is for Class VI to VIII teacher. Eligible candidates (BTC, D.El.Ed. or similar degree holders) can also apply for both Paper I and Paper II.
All CTET questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Duration of examination will be two and a half hour.
Paper asked in CTET 2018 will be bilingual, i.e. in both English and Hindi. Candidates are required to score a minimum of 60% to qualify CTET 2018 Exam.

CTET Certificate Validity Period:
The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
